This is a recipe download that goes along with the YouTube video, “Budding Vine Swirl Cold Process Soap (Technique Video #30)”. It’s a Palm-Free and Vegan recipe.
This technique is an advanced technique and isn’t recommended for beginners. (The Palm-Free Vegan base recipe can be used for any other soap batch and is suitable for beginners.) This technique, however, requires the understanding of trace and working quickly. It is also essential to use a fragrance that does not accelerate (or even one that decelerates trace) or discolor. Patience is needed to get the batter to proper trace. To set yourself up for success, please watch the video, read all instructions, and gather supplies before beginning.

This recipe contains these ingredients (Please only buy this recipe if you are comfortable with these ingredients.): Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Fragrance, Sodium Lactate, Kaolin Clay, Micas, Oxides, Titanium Dioxide, and of course water and NaOH (Sodium Hydroxide).
