This technique requires an understanding of trace and the ability to work quickly once the soap batter reaches the appropriate consistency.
Patience is important when preparing the batter. Allow it to reach the proper trace before proceeding, and avoid over-stick-blending. Too much stick-blending can cause the batter to thicken too quickly, making the technique more difficult to execute.
Choose a fragrance that does not discolor or accelerate. Fragrance behavior is especially important for this design because you need enough working time to complete the process.
The underlying palm-free, vegan base recipe is suitable for beginners, but the Festive Ebb & Flow technique itself is not recommended for beginners.

This recipe uses the following ingredients:
Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Fragrance, Sodium Lactate, Micas, Oxides, Ultramarines, Titanium Dioxide, Activated Charcoal, Water, and Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH).
