This is a recipe download that goes along with the YouTube video, “Festive Ebb & Flow Cold Process Soap (Tree Marie SHORT #3).” It’s a Palm-Free and Vegan recipe.
The technique used here is an advanced technique and isn’t recommended for beginners. The technique also requires the understanding of trace and working quickly. It is essential to use a fragrance that does not discolor or accelerate. Patience is needed to get the batter to proper trace. Do not over stick-blend. Please watch the Marbling CP Soap video until about the eight-minute mark to set yourself up for success (the process is the same, but the fragrance, weights, and percentages will be different.) Then watch the whole Festive Ebb & Flow video, read all instructions, and gather supplies before beginning.
(The Palm-Free Vegan base recipe can be used for any other soap batch and is suitable for beginners.)
This technique uses a 9-Bar Slab Mold. If you want to make your own slab mold out of a cardboard box and liner, check out this video.
This recipe contains these ingredients (Please only buy this recipe if you are comfortable with these ingredients.): Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Fragrance, Sodium Lactate, Micas, Oxides, Ultramarines, Titanium Dioxide, Activated Charcoal, and of course Water and NaOH (Sodium Hydroxide).
